Sigma Peptides uses minimal browser storage. We have organised these into three categories so you can choose what you're comfortable with.

Essential — always on

Required for the site to function. You cannot disable them and use Sigma at the same time.

Anonymous session identifier: a randomly generated UUID kept in your browser to count unique sessions. Cannot identify you personally.
Age confirmation: a flag indicating you have confirmed you are 21+ and purchasing for research purposes. Expires after 90 days.
Cookie consent: your saved cookie preferences. Expires after 12 months.
Portal session token: once you submit our quiz or a catalog request, a token is generated giving you access to your private chat portal. Expires when the token expires.

Analytics — optional, off by default

Helps us understand how the site is used so we can improve it. You can opt in or out at any time via the Cookie preferences link in the footer.

Page views: a record of which pages you visit
Quiz step progress: which question you reached, what you answered (linked anonymously to your session ID, not to your name)
Traffic source: the UTM parameters from the link that brought you here
Approximate location: country and city derived from your IP address. We do not store full IP addresses.
Device: browser, viewport size, referring page

Marketing — optional, off by default

Helps us measure which ads bring the right customers. We use the TikTok Pixel for conversion attribution: when you take the quiz after clicking one of our TikTok ads, the pixel reports an anonymous event back to TikTok so we know which creative worked. We do not share your name, email, phone, or quiz answers. The pixel only fires if you opt in.

TikTok Pixel (ttq): fires page events on each route view and a ClickButton event when you submit the quiz. Cookies set by TikTok on their domain (analytics.tiktok.com) are subject to TikTok's own privacy policy.
Revoking after opt-in: turning marketing off stops further events from firing, but the TikTok script cannot be cleanly unloaded once it's running. To fully remove it, clear your browser's site data for sigmapeps.com and reload.

What we don't use

No other third-party advertising: We do not use Meta Pixel, Google Ads tags, or LinkedIn Insight. TikTok Pixel is the only third-party tracker we use, and only with your marketing consent.
No third-party analytics tools: no Google Analytics, no Mixpanel, no Hotjar. All analytics are self-hosted in our own database.
No persistent identifiers across sites: we don't follow you to other websites.

Clearing storage entirely

Clear your browser's site data for sigmapeps.com. This will remove all of the above and you will see the age gate and cookie banner again on your next visit.
